Come join the fun! Find out about my upcoming book-signings, classes, and other crochet events.
Meet “Yarnboa” Up Close and Personal!
“Yarnboa delawarensis, a 40-foot yarn snake that I designed, is on view in the display corridor at the Delaware Museum of Natural History, as are some whimsical yarn-bombs outdoors. I’ll be on site Sunday, December 14, 2014, from 1-3 p.m. to talk about those creations and to give informal lessons in “finger crochet.”
Tunisian Crochet for Baby Book-Signing
I’ve been invited to be part of a group author event at Chester County Book Company on Saturday, December 13, 2014, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. There will be lots of sample items for you to look at, but the show is BYOB (bring your own baby)! It’s a great opportunity to shop for everyone on your gift list, and to support one of the few remaining independent booksellers in the area. Hope to meet you there!
Crochet Scarves Blog Book Tour
Crochet Scarves is on the road, making stops at the blogs of top crochet designers and industry professionals. You’ll be informed, educated, and entertained by these fiber artists. And as if that wouldn’t be enough to entice you to check out their blogs, each blogger will also offer a book as a prize to one lucky reader! Tour stops are still being added, so check back here every so often for an updated list.
Designer talk and book-signing for Crochet Scarves: Fabulous Fashions, Various Techniques
I’ve been invited to appear at the inspiring Lion Brand Yarn Studio for the third time—it feels like I’ve won the triple crown! Join me for an evening of fiber fun in this wonderful space with the best displays in New York City. I’ll share my perspective on what makes a great pattern, how to ensure a successful photo shoot, and what my design process is like. Be part of my scarf fashion show! Admission is free, but reservations are required—the event will be listed on the Studio’s website closer to the date. Books will be available for purchase, and I’ll be delighted to sign yours after my talk.
