Welcome to the online site of crochet designer, author, and instructor Sharon Silverman. Here you can find patterns, book information, listings for events and classes, and photographs of original designs.

Sharon’s work has been published by major yarn companies, in her books, and in her private line of patterns available through this website. She is known for her caring, crystal-clear instructions and fashion-forward garments and home decor. Sharon has been a featured guest on HGTV’s fiber arts show, “Uncommon Threads.” She’s a professional member of the Crochet Guild of America and a design member of The National NeedleArts Association.

Where’s the bunny?

After Sharon’s appearance on the March 25, 2010 Easter Crochet episode of “Uncommon Threads,” HGTV and DIY were supposed to make the rabbit pattern available but did not. If you are interested in the pattern, please email Sharon@SharonSilverman.com or (contact Sharon through Ravelry) and Sharon will be happy to email it to you. There are no photos because the network didn’t want any. However, the pattern is also available in Sharon’s book, Beyond Basic Crocheting. That version comes with many technique pictures.
